Magic: Evocation

FIRST LEVEL:

BLADES: This spell increases the battle efficiency of an army.
Required Information: Army leader name and ID.
BAC: 1

BLIGHT: This spell causes a wilting disease to spread among the crops of a targeted region.
Required Information: Name of targeted region
BAC: 1

RAINS: This spell summons heavy rains in a targeted region, causing a muddy morass and doubling the AP cost of movement through that region.
Required Information: Name of targeted region
BAC: 1

RUST: This spell causes the enemy's equipment to be temporarily weakened.  This spell has no effect if the casting nation does not enter battle.
Required Information: Identify enemy army.
BAC: 1

 

SECOND LEVEL:

BRIGHT BLADES: This spell increases the battle efficiency of an army.
Required Information: Army leader name and ID.
BAC: 2

GREATER RUST: This spell causes the enemy's equipment to be temporarily weakened. This spell has no effect if the casting nation does not enter battle.
Required Information: Identify enemy army.
BAC: 2

SQUALL: This spell causes wild winds in a given sea zone, possibly sinking or driving back shipping.
Required Information: Identify targeted sea zone.
BAC: 2

 

THIRD LEVEL:

FIRESTORM: This spell can only be cast by an individual leader and during battle. This spell causes terrible damage to an enemy army.
BAC: 3 (but takes effect on first AP)

SHATTER: This spell can only be cast by an individual leader and only from within the targeted region.  It destroys a specific bridge.
Required Information: Identify targeted bridge
BAC: 9

WIZARD WIND: This spell summons destructive winds which can damage public works within a targeted region.
Required Information: Identify targeted region
BAC: 9

 

FOURTH LEVEL:

CAGE OF THORNS: This spell temporarily summons a wild tangle of razor-sharp thorns which blocks all movement into or out of a targeted region.
Required Information: Identify targeted region
BAC: 16 (but takes effect on first AP)


WILDFIRES:
This spell can only be cast by an individual leader and only from within the targeted city. This spell sets terrible fires throughout a targeted city.  If successful, it will damage public works, shipping and the population of a city.  The caster must beware, lest the fires also consume him.
Required Information: Identify targeted city
BAC: 16

 

FIFTH LEVEL:

PLAGUE RATS: This spell sends a terrible plague into a targeted city within 12 AP.  It can reduce the population and the garrison.  
Required Information: Identify targeted city
BAC: 25

TEMPEST: This spell summons terrible storms in a given sea zone within 12 AP.
Required Information: Identify targeted sea zone
BAC: 25 (but takes effect on first AP)

 

SIXTH LEVEL:

EARTHQUAKE: This spell causes severe damage to an enemy city within 12 AP, toppling defenses and public works and causing the population to flee.
Required Information: Identify targeted city
BAC: 36

STORM OF VENGEANCE: This spell causes terrible storms, lightning, sleet and hail to beset  an enemy army.  It can only be cast in the turn after a friendly army has been attacked or suffered a defeat, but can be cast against any enemy army of the nation that attacked or defeated the friendly army.
Required Information: Name and location of enemy army commander.
BAC: 36 (but takes effect on first AP)
