The Banewarrens

The Banewarrens

The Banewarrens is a wonderful campaign adventure written by Monte Cook of Malhavoc PressI've adapted it to Theeurth and set in Echoriath, the capital of the Conorrian Empire.  Here are some photographs taken of the adventures in the Banewarrens.

WARNING - Many Banewarrens Spoilers Below!
Read at your own risk!

This page covers Chapters 1-4.
Chapters 5 is here.

The Broken Seal

These first two photographs are of the Company of the Starborn in the room of the Warding Generator.  The big green mouth is just to indicate the location of the Warded Door.  The tower-like structure is the Warding Generator.

The Battle with the Grailquest Team
In Session 3, the Company of the Starborn faced off with the Grailquest Team sent by the Pactlords of the Quann.

This picture shows the attack of Ios Halfhorn, the minotaur.  His deadly charge nearly killed Elida, the Knight of the Sacred Keys.  At bottom, Basil squares off with an illusory earth elemental.

Demetrios counterattacks, filling the corridor with a fireball spell.

As Basil fells Ios (top), Demetrios electrifies Verochin the Lamia.  Nereida (right) has been badly drained of wisdom by the lamia's touch.

The Thought Stalker
My version of the Thought Stalker was a weird, floating aberration.

As Demetrios and Felix loot Ios's body (top), Elida finishes off Verochin (bottom), and Nereida heals Basil (center), the Thought Stalker materializes and attacks, nearly killing Basil.

Bonzimir slams the door on a storm giant.

The Dungeon Master blows his one shot to wreak serious iron golem havoc as the Waning Guardian rolls a "1".

Chapter 5 is here.
